Once upon a time, in a land called British Columbia, there lived a beauty named Kimberley Faye Conrad. When she grew to womanhood, she rode a winged steed to the City of Angels, where lived Hugh Marston Hefner, prince among men. He fell in love with the girl from the provinces. One night, at a wishing well, he proposed marriage. Kimberley, lacking only a glass slipper to make this tale complete, pondered her tennis shoe, then said yes. On the first day of July 1989, with fanfare to rival that of any royal wedding, Kimberley and Hefner were joined in marriage. They honeymooned in his castle, where our princess, now called Kimberella, lives happily with her prince.
