To my special friends and supporters through the years: I have found writing this letter to be more difficult than I thought it would be—opening myself up and saying something very personal to you. I have tried in my pictures to give you nudity of a woman in a pure form, and I hope it pleases you. I have also tried to give something else, though: the real honesty of who I am. I have stayed away from scenes that are full of glamour and glitz (no fancy antiques or elaborate floral arrangements or expensive vases). I feel most comfortable when I am surrounded by simple and natural things. It truly makes me work harder to give you something that is a part of me. You don't get a facade. You get a look into me that I hope is my special gift to you. Doing this book has been a baring in several ways. I truly want to say, with much warmth, thank you for all the kind and generous and sensitive letters you've sent to me. You've always made me feel special. You have kept me coming back. Not because you like to look at me, but because I like to look at you. When I leaned over and blew those kisses and said "I love you" all those years on The Price Is Right. I meant it. You're sort of my family. My wish is that this book makes you feel happy and brings memories of me that you'll never forget. Love and laughs, Dian
