I've been on planet Earth for the full three score and ten years, which means I could shuffle off any day. However, I'm not ready for such an event. At least not yet! So what have I learned from all these years of living? Lesson number one: Don't just marry because the sex is good. Don't even marry if the sex is utterly, stupefyingly amazing. Lesson number two: Don't marry too young. What do I mean by too young? Well, at least 30. Sadly most married couples enter into a situation of boredom, and worse case scenario, they end up hating each other. I know this sounds cynical but there's a heck of a lot of truth in the above. Lesson number three: When you do meet your soul mate, treat her with respect. Choose your words carefully, even when arguing a point. FOREPLAY A WORD FROM THE EDITOR AFTER LOOKING AT A clothing catalogue recently, I couldn't help but notice how fully clothed the models were and how unusual that is to me now after having worked on Curves for a decade. A co-worker who was with me at the time quickly diagnosed me as having Curves on the brain. At first his quirky comment didn't make much sense to me and I shrugged it off, but the more I actually thought about it, the more I realized he was right! No matter where I go,.Oekend or workday the Curves atmosphere, the women and the readers are always on my mind. I might be out for lunch and suddenly spot a location that I would be perfect for a photoshoot, or it might be a woman I think would be great for Curves, and there have even been times where seeing a sexy pair of heels puts me right into work mode and I immediately start picturing a model in them all the while conducting an imaginary photoshoot in my mind. While admittingly this problem can at times be distracting, it also helps me visualize and focus more so that in the end our reader is thriled with the final product he/she has in their hands. So from my brain to the magazine you are holding in your hands right now, I hope you enjoy this issue as much as I enjoy putting it together mentally and physically.
