Filthy it may be, but in the two or three years that the Naked Interview has been running we have only managed twice to bring you a dirty bird in the company of a band or musician who has had a song even within a sniff of the Top Forty. Other than the late, lamented Carrie (Top Twenty hit with Molly) and the excellent Bloodhound Gang (world biggie with Bad Touch) the best we've given you is a load of unsigned losers and pub rockers whose records even we couldn't be arsed listening to in the office. But with this issue of club all that is about to change. A chance meeting between a mate of ours and the best bass player in the world in a straw hut in Thailand gave rise to our greatest naked coup. Yes, this month, on page 38, we bring you a world exclusive Naked Interview with Mani from Primal Scream, photographed the morning after the night he picked up the NME Brat award for Album of the Year.
