The first thing I want you to consider is your health. We all require regular exercise and we all need to eat wholesome foods including fruits and veggies, whole grains and lean protein. A thousand years ago I was a young 20-year-old art student. To be "in touch" with my passion for painting I dressed like a Bohemian, let my hair grow, seldom washed it, wore raggedy clothes and never shaved. Now this is all well and good if your only interest is in painting - but, I also wanted to meet, date and ... well, you know what ... women! Okay, so I could get women okay, but not the special women I desired. The well-dressed, showered, educated, perfumed women I would see in the streets of London's King's Road. One word from my dear old mom: "Robert, you are letting yourself go!" (okay, 6 words) had me convinced. I headed for the barber, the shower and the men's clothing store. It's not until people in my personal life find out that I'm responsible for putting together this magazine, that I can tell that some folks think that what I do is more of a party than a science. Some people might think it's easy to put together a magazine that's full of hot women. Some people might even think it's a walk in the park to pour over thousands of images and ' DVDs full of scantily-clad women. Some people think I 'I have the easiest job in the world. The fact is that I don't have it easy. Nope. In fact, I have a really hard job. Do you know how difficult it is to be surrounded by the most amazing female specimens on the planet and have to decide which ones will be featured for you, the faithful American Curves reader? Okay, so maybe it's not rocket science and maybe it doesn't have to be as complicated as computer programming, but my team and I put a lot of work into ensuring that each issue is better than the last. How can I say this? Really simple: On this, our 50th issue, I can tell by the quality of the pictures, the scorching hot models and your countless letters of praise that American Curves just keeps getting better and it's all for you.
